Darrell Lee Waltrip was born on February 5, 1947 in Owensboro, KY. In 1992 ln his car # 17 Western Auto Chevy, Waltrip collected three wins, and finished 9th in points. That would be the last time he would visit victory lane in a Cup race. After his 2000 retirement, he signed with Fox to be the lead analyst on the network's NASCAR telecasts.
