Kyle Eugene Petty (born June 2, 1960 in Randleman, NC) is a retired American NASCAR driver and is currently a NASCAR broadcaster for TNT. Mello Yellow would replace Peak as sponsor of the #42 in 1991. He lost the Mello Yello sponsorship at the end of the 1994 season
