The Nevada Northern Railway operated in the state of Nevada with approximately 148 miles of track with their headquarters at East Ely, Nevada. The railroad was incorporated on May 25, 1905 and operated through June 20, 1983 when the Nevada Northern Railway suspended all operations after the close of the McGill smelter plant.
