The Ann Arbor Railrod was a Class 1 railroad that operated 300 miles of track from Toledo, Ohio to Frankfort, Michigan with headquarters in Toledo, Ohio. On October 16, 1973, Ann Arbor Railroad declared bankruptcy. The railroad ceased operation as a railroad on April 1, 1976 when Conrail assumed operations that day.
