The Pacific Great Eastern Railway operated in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It was a class II regional railway, eventually operating 1,441 miles of mainline track. Their headquarters were in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was owned by the provincial government starting in 1918, became British Columbia Railway in 1972, and BC Rai in 1984. In 2004 the operations were sold to the Canadian National Railway.
