The Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern Railway was a shortline railroad with their headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The railroad was incorporated in 1918 and was 87 miles long. On June 2, 1982 the Minneapolis, Northfield & Southern Railway was acquired by the Soo Line Railroad, which operated it as a seperate railroad until merging it into the Soo Line on January 1, 1986.
