"The Powhatan Arrow" was the flagship passenger train for the Norfolk & Western Railway. It made it's first run on April 28, 1946 and operated from Norfolk/Newport News, VA to Cincinnati, OH. This named passenger train made it's final run in the spring of 1969 when the Interstate Commerence Commission (IC) allowed the railroad discontinue running this flagship passenger train.
